For those who have never worn toe-separating cross trainers, you are in for an adventure. They are rated very high, with an average of 4.4. These shoes are comfortable, flexible for workouts, and of good quality. Many find them great for functional fitness like powerlifting, hiking, obstacle courses, sports, and training. They also like the style, walking ability, and wearability.
The shoe fastening method is different from many cross-training shoes. It uses distinctive rope traction lugs in the arch. It has panel lacing with a hook-and-loop for the shoe closure system. Perfect for aggressive, lateral movements. The XS Trek rubber compound is good for all-around performance, both indoor and outdoor. To help put things in perspective, I have included the materials:
Sole material
Rubber
Outer material
Polyester, Lateral TPU Panels
Closure type
Hook & Loop
These are very comfortable and fit most enthusiasts perfectly. The area around the ankle is cushioned nicely. The fabric over the toes is light and stretchy. These fit your feet like gloves - foot gloves. Great grip and arch support. If you have flat feet, these are amazing to help give your feet some type of comfort when running or working out at the gym. It can take a little bit of time to get used to them, especially if you have never worn these types of trainers, but the 4.4 rating suggests you will love them.
If you have very high arches, some customers have found the shoes to be restrictive, so try them on if possible. The Vibram Men's FiveFingers V-Train 2.0 is great for shorter runs, but I wouldn't recommend them for long distances. They provide minimal impact protection, so you could see wear early. Finally, they are lightweight, perfect fit, durable, have sturdy soles, are easy to take off and put on, and don’t forget to get toe socks if you’re a first-time buyer.
